Even though I didn't participate in any ultras this year, it's been fun to volunteer at Hardrock and at Run Rabbit Run (where I completed my first 50 miler). A bit of rainy weather (at times) was a little less than desirable, but it's always nice to make it up to Steamboat.
Got in a bit late on Thursday night, but found a campsite near Rabbit Ears (the namesake isn't obvious from this angle).

The next morning, it started lovely, then turned a bit cold and rainy.
The rain cleared out later in the day, and with a little local knowledge (thanks Callie!), found a great spot to camp, and was given a nice view of a rainbow.
Woke up the next morning, made a nice breakfast, the last volunteer shift, and then back home later on Saturday night.
