After a friend of mine, Jim, suggested I pop over to Palo Duro canyon near the end of 2022, I did head over, and realized I would like to spend more time. So, a plan emerged, and I booked a week down in the canyon (March 19-25, 2023), AND Jim came out to meet me for a few days during the trip. It was both great to get back to the canyon, it was also great to spend time with a friend I don't get to see often enough. On the first day, however, I had other friends around camp as I tried to get situated (and setup this fancy Gazelle contraption for Jim). A couple pics of the turkeys, Jim, and a trail or two not far from camp.
Last a couple pictures of the canyon. Even though I was here for nearly a week, with work (and it was VERY windy at the start of the week, hence the shape of the tent in a prior picture) and hanging out, didn't take as many pictures as I thought I did. Still a great trip, and a few landscape shots to round it out.
