All week I was thinking about, "Do I want to go camping, do I not want to go camping". Well, of course I WANT to go camping, but temps are borderline still, means some of the lower campgrounds might be busier...my mind talked me out of it. Then I woke up Friday morning, and thought, "You're going camping tonight!". I checked in on Lake Pueblo State Park, they had some sites available, so I decided on the easy route and grabbed a spot.

While State Parks aren't my favorite camping locations, there are places and times for most things, and this was the time for an easy campsite at a lovely State Park. Got in around 5PM, took a nice hike, made a quick dinner, then setup Starlink to watch some playoff hockey before a great night under the stars. One of the reasons for this trip was a bit of a shakeout of some new gear, including an inverter (to run the Starlink) and things like some rock lights (to help see around camp).

Getting in and a view from camp as I get back from my afternoon hike.

Then it's off to bed, early to rise...a quick hike around a slightly different area of the park and back home!
