Kicking off 2023

Well, it was time to get out again...even though things are a bit chilly. I have a few items on order to help out with that (bedrug for example), but decided that I could drive far enough south to give it a reasonable go this early (Feb, even though I'm posting this in March).
The main purpose of this trip was to get out of the cold, not necessarily explore as much as other trips. Work pressed on, so this was a good test of Starlink and Sawatch as a base for working remotely. I took off on Saturday, to start the drive...made it down in the area of "Truth or Consequences, NM" for the first night. Then a bit south of Tucson, AZ to camp for a few days before returning home. After arriving on Sunday and seeing a few people out and about, I didn't see another person until Thursday, the day I headed out. Not many pics, but a few from the trip. Getting into camp the first night (well, really the first morning as it was dark by the time I found camp).
After that, it was just locating a place to stay for a few days and nights in AZ.
